Database size limit

Okay… I’ve hit the 4gb size limit… any recommendations?

We’re running Solaris 8/Sparc, so it’s not a filesystem thing…

MySQL.

Basically what happened is that I reached the mySQL 4gb database size limit,
and had to execute

ALTER TABLE Attachments MAX_ROWS=500000 AVG_ROW_LENGTH=40000

You can check your own table health by doing:

show table status from rt2 like 'Attachments';

Relevant Section now shows:

Avg_row_length | Data_length | Max_data_length
28319 | 4261361424 | 1099511627775

(And yes, that’s a bloody big number).
