Custom Fields: Validation Dates!

Hello There!!

I have a custom field that will be used to get dates (dd/mm/aaaa), and I made a javascript code that does the validation entry, but I don’t know where can I put this code or if has a scrip solution to my case…

I think that I need change something in /Tickets/Elements/EditCustomField but I don’t know the exactly point… Someone could help me???

Hello, Rodolfo!

Take a look at the file
(rtpath)/share/html/Ticket/Elements/EditCustomField, it’s in this file
where the custom field componentes are designed. In that file, depending
on the kind of the custom field, it’s the html component that is
inserted into the page, so you can put an generic javascript validation
code into the kind of field that will accept the date input.
Yet in this file, you can do custom implementations for new custom
fields, but remember doing a copy into the local directory. OK?
