Custom Fields in RT 2.0.15

All,
I am an RT newbie. I have successfully installed RT 2.0.15 with Apache
1.3.26, mod_perl and perl 5.6.1. I am currently looking into the
configuration aspect of it and have a general question.

Is there custom field support in RT? I have a few fields that I would
like to add to the “Ticket form” in order to capture essential
information about the requestor. From all the docs I have read, it seems
like custom fields is something thats going to be made available in the
future. My needs are sort of immediate. Has anyone gotten around this
issue somehow? I have read that 2.1.39 has the custom field feature. Any
word on whether it is stable to use ??

The Oracle’s schema iirc hadn’t been ported. Otherwise I dareway
that the custom field support is pretty stable.

If you need to let the user to enter multiple entries of the same
columns (i.e. a entry table), I have a patch here that does it, too.

(but this thread really belongs to rt-devel.)
