Custom fields - global vs. by queue

Is it possible to have a custom field span multiple queues but not be
global? For example, I have queues A, B, C & D. I want custom field
’foo’ to be available in A & B, but not in C & D.

Any help would be appreciated!

No, but if that’s required it would be a great excuse to push through
the upgrade that’s waiting in the wings! (Currently using 3.2.1)

Yes. It’s a feature we added for 3.4
