I have already configured RTIR, and the page opens in the browser, but unfortunately, none of the usernames work, neither root nor admin. Can someone help me understand what is happening, please?
Work for logging in? There is the CLI tool sbin/rt-passwd you can use

What doesn’t work exactly? You were able to SSH onto the server and reset root’s password and those credentials aren’t working?
Do you revert to the login page when you appear to have logged in?
If so, that’s most likely because you’re using a standard http connection and not a secure one.
Either configure SSL, or set $WebSecureCookies to 0 - see RT Config - RT 5.0.7 Documentation - Best Practical
