Creation of tickets in a queue via email requests

hi all,

m relatively new at rt so please bear with me. my
problem is this, is there a way that an email address
can correspond to a queue. Let’s say i have in my rt a
queue with name example and my domain is pinoy.ph.
when a user sends mail to example@pinoy.ph this
automatically becomes a tickey in the example queue
whereby all watchers can now take a look at it.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks
raist

That’s how it’s supposed to work - you just need to set the address up
as an alias which feeds into rt-mailgate. See “Setting up the mail
gateway” in the draft manual or the README.
