I am trying to use cookie authentication so I can have a user login and grab the cookie then do seperate calls based on a PHP UI i am making. I am having a hard time finding viable documentation for this.
Can anyone walk me through this?

We used it in 4.0 (ExtAuth extension). Not working in 4.4 (ExtAuth merged into RT) 
Do you have some documentation of ExtAuth cookie setup. Seems like all the documentation is just ldap related stuff.
Id be curious on the step process of anything.
Nothing special. We had combination of type ldap, db and cookie. SSO not working anymore.
