Does anyone know if there’s a way to include the ticket’s description when
executing ./rt --create? In other words, the equivalent of the “Descibe the
Issue Below” box in the Web interface? I don’t seem to be able to create an
’initial’ comment when creating a ticket from the command line. For
instance,
% ./rt --create --comment
doesn’t work. Which API governs the initial desciption? Is it
RT::Transaction?
Indeed, the cli’s --create is missing a bunch of functionality.
Send mail to rt-2.0-bugs and I’ll take care of it when I
get home from japan.
Briefly, Create is handed a mime object and attahes that tot the transaction.
That’s how you get the description.
