Jesse,
Thanks for responding. I’ve used mod-perl v2.0.1-1 obtained from
perl.apache.org. I’ve also used v1.99_16-4; RedHat’s latest rpm. Perl
is version 5.8.5-16 also installed via RedHat though not the absolute
latest (which is 5.8.5-24).
The server is running Apache 2.0.52-19.

I’ve checked the two solutions provided in the article. One is to
verify that the DBIx::SearchBuilder module is in the Perl path. It is.
The other is to uninstall/reinstall the module. Did that too. I also
verified that the file can be reached from the Apache group. So I don’t know what else to look at. Any suggestions?
mod_perl, right? Can you tell us how you installed perl and mod_perl.
My suspicion is that your mod_perl is built against a different libperl
than your /usr/bin/perl.–
