Can the Search mechanism search ticket content?

Can the Search mechanism search ticket content (instead of just the ticket
title and whatever else it currently searches)?

All my searches have yet to match anything in the content of my tickets.

I’m using RT 3.4.2.

I’m a little confused here:

I don’t speak of the Query Builder. I refer to the regular “Search” button
in the top-right corner of my RT 3.4.2 home page. There is no “Advanced”
button there. I’d dearly like to have an Advanced button there.

Did I miss something?

To do a full text search on the contents of the history fields, you will
need to add criteria to your query using the ‘Advanced’ section.

   1. click advanced and add ' ContentType LIKE 'text/plain' AND 

Content LIKE ‘simple text you want to find here’
2. click Apply

Alternatively, you can modify use the Add Criteria box of Query Builder;
Content is in the same dropdown list as Subject
