Bug -- pulling up a merged ticket ID in RT 3.5.x doesn't work

I thought I’d posted about this already but I can’t find it – apologies if
it’s a dupe.

If I merge ticket 2 into ticket 1 and I type ‘2’ in the top-right search box
or search id=2 in query builder, it produces no results.
