Blank content on correspondences

Hello,

Recently we’ve been experiencing blank contents in the emails sent out by RT
2.0.6. Either it will be completely blank, or if it’s an Admin-type template
it will only have the standard link to the ticket at the top.

Has anyone else experienced this? I can’t seem to find a common thread with
the problems. Let me know if I’ve not given enough information.

Thank you,

John

Oh, forgot to mention: The ticket itself will still contain the text added
(like it should) even though it wasn’t included in the email.

If the first version of RT you installed was before 2.0.6, your templates
don’t use the new Transaction->Content method, but instead probably use
Transaction->Message->First->Content, which won’t work as well.On Wed, Sep 12, 2001 at 01:49:20PM -0500, John DeBerry wrote:

Thanks for the suggestion! However, it looks like all of my templates do use

{$Transaction->Content()}

Is there anything else I could try? :slight_smile:

Also, I’m not quite sure this is related, but it seems similar: I’m in the
web interface looking at a ticket. Then I click ‘Reply’ on the particular
item in the ticket I wish to reply to. However, when it opens the next page
for me to insert my text, the ticket content loses the quoted text. There is
only one ‘>’ where the quoted text would normally be. (This is not quite the
same as the other problem, as the blank/empty emails are sent even if the
text field is filled with text.) Sorry to confuse things if this is
unrelated, but I figure it might be since it deals with inserting contents
somewhere.
