I’m looking at what I can do with the rt utility with respect to creating
reports each night and emailing to users as well as creating tickets from
another application (to do with work order processing in installations.
My questions are as follows:
- Is there any more documentation on $RT_SUMMARY_FORMAT
- I do not seem to be able to assign keywords as we add a new ticket using
- I do not seem to be able to set keywords to an existing ticket using ./rt
- I want to associate tickets with each other using links - how can I get
the ticket number generated when I add a ticket with ./rt
I’d appreciate any help or advice that anybody can provide.
PS - One tiny little bug - the help screen says you need to use “–no-edit”,
but the code appears to look for the switch “–noedit”.
