Apache startup problem w/RT3

Hi,
trying to test out the rt3 alpha release (aka 2-1-59). Everything installs
cleanly, but when trying to start apache I get the following error:

Starting httpd:…
Subroutine handler redefined at /opt/rt3/bin/webmux.pl line 110.[Thu Jan 23
12:49:28 2003] [error] Undefined subroutine &RT::LoadConfig called at
/opt/rt3/bin/webmux.pl line 60.
Compilation failed in require at (eval 83) line 1.

Syntax error on line 1000 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Undefined subroutine &RT::LoadConfig called at /opt/rt3/bin/webmux.pl line 60.
Compilation failed in require at (eval 83) line 1.

(line 60 of webmux.pl is as follows btw)
RT::LoadConfig();

All paths appear to be correct (libs in /opt/rt3/lib, /opt/rt3/local/lib).
perl is 5.6.1, apache 1.3.26. rt 2.0.15 is running happily on the same
machine. Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem?

cheers
john

If I had to guess, I’d say you were trying to run RT2 and RT3 under
mod_perl in the same Apache instance? If so, that won’t work…
switch to FastCGI and you’ll be much happier.
