Anyone using RT with apache2 (pkg) on NetBSD?

Hello,

Before I try and hack at the makefile etc to find all
the apache2 stuff for fastcgi etc, is anyone else here
using or working on using rt (3.2.1, but any version will do …)
with apache2 from the BSD ports on NetBSD? If you are, would you care
to share build notes, or port makefiles etc?

thanks

Carl

Hi Carl,

I would suggest that you simply install rt-3.2.1 by hand. No need
to rely on the ports, unless it breaks the rules of NetBSD!
I run on FreeBSD and I’d say rt is so easy to install once you
have a running instance of apache that has mod_perl support.
Of course you need at least perl-5.8.3 for rt-3.2.1

I have not managed to run under fastcgi at all. It’s one of those
things that I haven’t managed despite reading the howtos, but I
believe it’s something stupid I am missing.

Installing RT is well documented in the README that is in the distro.

Good luck!
