Answering a ticket

hi there,

i am wondering: if somebody takes a ticket to answere it,
the status in the drop-down is set (default) to “open” and
the owner is (default) “Nobody”…can i change this ?
for me it´s more logical that the user is listed who is
logged in… if user “joe” is logged in and answeres to a ticket,
he should be the owner… can i change these settings somewhere ?

thx+best regards,
micha

Maybe he could become the owner if Nobody was the previous owner, but
the simple fact of replying shouldn’t change ownership.

“Taking” or “Stealing” a ticket on the other hand does change the
ownership. If you restrict the right to reply to a ticket to the owner
then the result is what you want (albeit not implicit).
