I have just extended the reach of my RT install to everyone who wishes
to send me a problem, however users that are not registered to RT
generate the message :
RT could not load a valid user, and RT’s configuration does not allow
for the creation of a new user for this email user@somewhere.com
You might need to grant ‘Everyone’ the right ‘CreateTicket’ for the
queue general.
Following the advise from the email, I first had to create the group
Everyone (there was no queue listed) and then I added in CreateTicket,
to both the Systems Groups and User Defined Groups sections in the Group
rights - Yes the group now appears twice.
This however does not allow anyone to create a new ticket, can anyone
suggest what I may be missing?
I have also added these rights to the Everyone group globally to see if
that made a difference.
OS RHEL 4
RT Version 3.4.5
Many thanks,
Neil.

There is already a Global role called everyone. Creating
a group called Everyone won’t do anything for you.On Mon, Mar 06, 2006 at 11:47:29AM +0000, Neil Marjoram wrote:
