I’ve successfully install RT 3.2.2 on Debian box (request tracker was
taken from debian unstable repository and recompiled for sarge). It
looks like everything works fine except managing groups and memebers. Is
there any bug in RT 3.2.2? Because I’ve created a list of new users and
a list of groups. Now when I try to add different users to a group
(Configuration -> Groups -> -> Members) and Add members users
list is empty? Is this a bug? Is there another way to add users to a
group.
They probably need to be privileged users. On Fri, Feb 18, 2005 at 05:22:18PM +0100, Andraz Sraka wrote:

RT Administrator and Developer training is coming to your town soon! (Boston, San Francisco, Austin, Sydney) Contact training@bestpractical.com for details.
I have installed RT 3.4.4 on Sun Solaris 9 successfully. I logged into RT
as root; created a new user with full access to RT( Let this user access
RT, Let this user be granted rights). Then I created a new custom group and
activated the group. No problem so far, everything works fine. Now when I
try to add user to the newly defined group (configuration-> Groups →
members) I see Add members users list is empty. Is this a bug or am I
missing some configuration? I just discovered a mailing-list link http://lists.bestpractical.com/pipermail/rt-users/2005-February/028935.html
with a similar problem.
