Adding a status

Is it possible to add another status type? I’ve got a group of users that
would like another status type to use for marking tickets of interest. They
mainly want to build a knowledge base. I haven’t had an opportunity to look
at the TemplateAnswers (Looks like that’s what everyone suggests for KB) in
contrib yet. They’re pretty intent on just having another status type.

A quick way to do this would be to just make use of the keyword selections.
