Adding a pref field?

Hey all –

Just finished setting up RT 3 for my organization, and there’s one
little pref feature that a bunch of people are asking for – they want
to be able to change the order in which ticket correspondence/comments
are displayed (defaults to oldest first, newest last, and they want to
reverse that). Any easy way to do this, or anyone who can give me a
pointer as to where to start?

Thanks,

Ian

Unfortunatly, I wasn’t able to find anything of use when searching. Any
chance I could get a more specific pointer? A web link or an e-mail subject
line or something like that?

Okay, cool…that’s a big step in the right direction…

Now the trick is making the sort direction user selectable…where would
I add code to pull another field from the database? (I figure, add a
column in the users table, and then put an if/else into the
Tickets/Elements/ShowHistory file…From: Todd Chapman [mailto:rt@chaka.net]

That is left as an exercise for the person that desires it.On Wed, Apr 21, 2004 at 10:54:12AM -0400, Marlier, Ian wrote:
