1 the cgi’s are hard links, but i can’t set a hard link over a
partition, i have /var/www/cgi-bin and /usr/local/rt i severel parts.
i have set symbolic links, but then i must change my apache conf for
the cgi-bin dir, FallowSymLink
Correct. you either need hard links or to enable FollowSymLink
2 can i install the email, web, and Sql Part on 3 severel servers ?
in this time, i have installed email and web on one server,
but ouer email server is to slow, for apache
You can put the SQL server on a seperate machine, but for RT1, all
client apps (the mail gateway, the web app and the cli tools) need
to be able to read from and write to RT’s directories. you can do this
with NFS mounts if you want… One idea might be to set up the webserver
to be able to accept mail from the mail server and have the mail server forward
mail for RT to the webserver.
good luck and sorry for my ugly english
Don’t worry about it. It’s much better than my german
