5.0.3 to 5.0.5 Upgrade - Mason GetStylesheet error

Hello! We’ve upgraded our 5.0.3 RT installation to 5.0.5 including the database. The application is running on Debian 11.

After the upgrade, the pages load sometimes, but then other times fail with a message “An internal RT error has occurred. Your administrator can find more details in RT’s log files.” Syslog shows the below. I get the error 50-60% of the time, then other times it just works? Really at a loss as to what’s happening here.

Mar 15 12:16:10 hostname RT: [36043] Undefined subroutine &HTML::Mason::Commands::GetStylesheet called at /opt/rt5/share/html/Elements/Header line 137.#012#012Stack:#012 [/opt/rt5/share/html/Elements/Header:137]#012 [/opt/rt5/share/html/Ticket/Display.html:48]#012 [/opt/rt5/share/html/Ticket/autohandler:66]#012 [/opt/rt5/sbin/…/lib/RT/Interface/Web.pm:741]#012 [/opt/rt5/sbin/…/lib/RT/Interface/Web.pm:420]#012 [/opt/rt5/share/html/autohandler:53]

Anyone have any ideas? Many thanks in advance!

First thing I’d check is to make sure you’ve cleared out the mason cache directories.

That did the trick. Used information from CleanMasonCache - Request Tracker Wiki and restarted apache, and the problem was resolved. Thanks!
