URL in emails (fwd)

Sorry. I have to correct something here. I did some more testing. When
I use email client to create, reply and comment, the URL is interpreted
fine. The WebURL is only wrong when I use the links from the web
interface to reply, change status and comment. Please help. Thank you
very much.

Subject: [rt-users] URL in emails

I probably just miss something here because I don’t see others reporting
this problem after May 2001. Could anyone please help? Thanks.

I have set the $WebBaseURL. We are running RT at the root of our server.
When an email is sent as CREATE, the WebURL is interpreted
correctly via the templates. But the URL is not working in correspondence,
transactions, comments, status after the ticket is created. How could I
fix this?

This has good URL:
OnCreate NotifyAdminCcs with template AdminCorrespondence

All others have “http://RT::WebBaseURL.not.configured:80” in front of the
path:
OnComment NotifyAdminCcs with template StatusChange
OnCorrespond NotifyAdminCcs with template AdminCorrespondence
OnStatus NotifyAdminCcs with template StatusChange

I am just using the default templates that come with the installation.

Thanks,
Sherrill

Feargal,

Thanks for your help. That was it. I usually just do a apache ‘reload’
after a change. I try to ‘stop then start’ apache. That did it. Thanks much.

That sounds like you didn’t stop and start apache after you made the config changes.
