Upgraded to 3.8.2 now getting "MySQL server has gone away error"

I’ve just upgraded RT from 3.6.1 on a RHEL4 i386 to 3.8.2 on a RHEL5
x86_64.
I followed instructions in README and UPGRADE.mysql and there was no
errors during the procedure.

Now the problem is: when I create a new ticket in a queue, and if there
are more than one user in AdminCc, then I’ll get “MySQL server has gone
away error” in rt log as detailed below. If I just update a ticket no
problems. If the queue only has one user in AdminCc, no problems.

Any ideas?

I use the default, which is 100 I think. Should be enough for my site. In
fact I was the only RT user when I was testing 3.8.2.On Tue, 13 Jan 2009, chaim.rieger@gmail.com wrote:
