Ticket creation

Hi

How can I let some fields which is repeated in Tickets to be added auto whe I create Ticket so I don’t need to add them manually each time on creation of tickets ?

Does anyone know which tables are altered when a ticket is created? We are
trying to link an existing tool to RT but I need to know what EXACTLY
happens behind the scenes when a ticket is created. Anybody else done
something similar?

I haven’t surfed the code well enough to tell you exactly what’s going
on, but I do know it’s complicated.

A better way would be to write a perl script that uses the various RT
