Reinhart Max of SuSE has posted RPMs for postgresql 7.1.3-4:
after answering your email yesterday, I received another request for
PostgreSQL 7.1 RPMs for SuSE Linux 7.2. So I took the opportunity and
built them and put them here:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/max/suse-7.2
I found I had to rpm -e the old ones before I could install these
because of naming differences.
