Silly question - what does the star mean in rt3.8.1?

Hi,

in the new version, each ticket has a star on the top right corner of
the ticket-view that can be “activated” or “deactivated”.
What purpose is that feature for?

This may sound silly, but I don’t “get” it and there’s no tooltip
about it

3.8.1 is working quite well so far - I installed the RC5 over the
weekend and helpdesk staff hasn’t complained about anything, except
maybe that styling is now a bit too gray for some tastes.
Going back to the 3.4 design is really painful, though

Regards,
Rainer

To clarify, it’s an element used in gmail, and also in FF3.
Cambridge Energy Alliance: Save money & the planet

This is so that you may bookmark a ticket. When it is activated (colored
in), the ticket is bookmarked. When it is not activated (grayed out), the
ticket is not bookmarked.

Upgraded 3.6.1 to 3.8.1, carefully read the docs, followed the
instructions (for mysql) and the upgrade went brilliantly. Good
job folks. Very nice.

Logged into my new shiny RT. And all looks good.
however, when running (some) reports, and fiddling
about with advanced searches, I’ll get returned to
a login screen, and I must log in again in order
to access the result.

Were you coming from MySQL 4.0?
I had the same problem until I did the MySQL 4.0 → 4.1 updates-----Original Message-----

Todd,

What does that line actually do (I’m a Linux/Apache newbie)?

Thanks,

I have the same problem.
But I suppose because of External LDAP Auth plug-in.

I’m using ExternalAuth and it doesn’t do the looping issue.

The only time I’ve noticed it loop is when I click on a child/parent
ticket link of a ticket I created using the “New child in” button, it
takes me to the login. From: rt-users-bounces@lists.bestpractical.com
