Set custom field from CLI, RT 3.8.8

Hi.

Is it possible to set and view custom field values in the CLI in RT 3.8.8? I tried the things mentioned on http://wiki.bestpractical.com/view/UseRtTool, but it does not seem to work on 3.8. The custom field is not set during ticket creation, and I cannot see the custom fields in “rt show ticket”.
