Sendmail

Hi there!

I have a “little” big problem here. We implemented RT 2 some months ago,
and everything just worked.
However: my clients don’t receive email anymore from the RT system.
Sending mail TO RT works, eg: the ticket is created, but replying to the
ticket doesn’t work.

Since the RT system is quite big, where do I start?

Regards!

hi Diederik,

first you want to check, if the queues got the correct ‘scrips’ in

[Configuration] → [Queues] / [Global] → [Scrips]

here is defined what happens on what condition.
you should find something like ‘OnCrorrepond NotifyAdminCcs with template
support AdminCorrespondence’ here.

if a proper ‘OnCrorrepond’ scrip is in place take a look at your log-files
( /var/log/rt2/ ? and /var/log/mail) to find out if rt is at least trying to
send mail.

this should be enough to check for the moment

Andreas,

Did I say I just love you  Indeed, my scrips in my queue where crippled.
Don’t know what happened :frowning:
