We have 1 CF (Asset Tag) on all of our asset catalogs. Is there a way to make QuickSearch search that CF across All catalogs instead of the selected (or default) catalog? Or is there another easy way of doing it? We are just looking for an easy way to find an asset by the “Asset Tag” CF.
The behavior I am experiencing is that QuickSearch only searches for the CF in the currently selected Catalog. So if I search for an Asset Tag (belonging to a computer) while I am in the catalog for Switches, I get no results, but if I select the Catalog for Computers it finds it.
We are using RT4.4.1
