RC3 also seems to have a bug with editing of scrips on a queue.
When I added the first scrip to my queue, I saw a list of possible
templates to attach to that scrip. Since then, the selectbox
that gives me a choice of templates shows a bunch of records
that are exactly the same. They all say “Global Template:”
with no details.
The display of templates attached to my scrip is also blank;
the whole scrip says “OnCreate AutoreplyToRequestors with template”.
This can’t be right.

you haven’t given the user who’s trying to edit scrips ‘ShowTemplate’.
Arguably, the select box should just be empty. ;)On Tue, Jun 26, 2001 at 04:51:44PM -0400, Shane Landrum wrote:

Actually, I have. Even so, only the “root” user can see the names of the
templates on that page. My user who has ShowTemplate and ModifyTemplate
permissions is having the problem. (That user also has ShowScrips and
ModifyScrips).

I have images of Marc in well worn combat fatigues, covered in mud,
sweat and blood, knife in one hand and PSION int he other, being
restrained by several other people, screaming “Let me at it!
Just let me at it!” Eichin standing calmly by with something
automated, milspec, and likely recoilless.

Just for the queue. As I understand the ACL system, this should work.
Am I missing something?

Those Templates you’re not seeing are system templates. you need the system-level ACL to see them.On Tue, Jun 26, 2001 at 05:30:52PM -0400, Shane Landrum wrote:

Ah, fixed. Thanks for the quick response. Is there an FAQ somewhere
to answer questions like this, so I don’t have to look silly
too much?

Computer games don’t affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as
kids, we’d all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic
pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.
