RTFM 2.2.0RC2 Bug: article drop-down breaks search

If a class is marked so that all it’s areticles appear
in a dop-down list on the ticket reply page, then searching
for an article causes the first article in the drop-down to be
inserted. Also, clicking Go for a search result includes
that article, plus whatever is selected in the drop-down.

And while were at it, articles in the drop down should
probably be sorted alphabetically, and maybe by class too.

Hi,

i recognized this bug also while using RTFM 2.2.0RC2 with rt 3.6.0 and 3.6.1.
Is there any chance that someone is able to provide a patch to fix this
problem in the near future?

Related to Todds suggestion I think it would be extremely nice to see two drop
down fields. The first to select the class and a second which show the
articles in this class in alphabetical order. So it would be faster and much
more comfortable to select the right one out of potentially five hundret
articles. Also on the server side I think its faster to find out and present
the articles by class than all existing articles. But I am not really
sure.

I am glad to hear about the priority which the RTFM extension development has
at bp. The release of the rc2 was a while ago. I know, its ready when its
ready. Hopefully it’s not uncivil, but a short information about existing
plans would be nice.

Hopefully,
