just noticed that when displaying articles whicxh have the character-sequence “<->” in a custom field, everything is printed on one single line without line-breaks.
When modifiying the article int hte textbox everything looks fine…
I noticed that the “
”-tags are missing in the html-source if the chars “<->” are in the text, maybe something with escaping or parsing the text.

So. RTFM is going looking for possible HTML tags in your message to
determine whether to format it as html or as plain text. I’d take a
patch to refine the regexp a bit.
