RT3 - command line interface

Hi RT developers,

SunCERT is running on RT1.0.7 (due to many customizations) but wants to
move to RT3 + RTIR + RTFM. Now, we have many [shell] scripts build
around the CLI - which is not [yet] part of RT3.

We will probably be able to migrate some of them into RT3 scrip
technology, but for the transition, we would prefer to keep the old
“wrappers”.

I understand that the CLI will eventually be ported from RT2 - but do
you have any time frame for that? How far away is RT3’s CLI? One week,
one month, several month?..

Any input would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Actually, it’s a ground-up rewrite. I have code from the developer, but
it hasn’t yet been tested well enough internally to reditribute. I’m
travelling for the next week or so, but am likely to have time to put
together something shortly after that.
