Rt2-to-rt3 dumpfile dies on import

Hi,
I’m currently upgrading our RT2 (2.0.15) installation to an RT3 (RT3.4.1)
installation. I’ve dumped the database on the currently running RT2, and
while trying to run dumpfile-to-rt-3.0 to import it, I get the following
output:
Importing groups

.t-37049
.t-44479

$VAR1 = {

‘Ticket’ => ‘17’,
‘Created’ => ‘2002-08-08 03:42:42’,
‘id’ => 32,
‘Creator’ => ‘12050’,
‘ActivateScrips’ => ‘0’
};
All of the users ( a bunch of them) have already been imported. Any ideas
on where to start looking to fix this?
Also, do I have to drop the database, then create a new empty DB, and then
import the data again from scratch when I re-run this? When I run the
incremental dump and import for the last day or two, can there be
overlapping data?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, after more searching, I finally found out that the answer is that I
had to install RT3.2, drop the 3.4 database, and create the database using
the 3.2 libraries. Then I pointed the dumpfile_to_rt3 libraries at the
3.2install.

This imported correctly.

I now have to do the incremental dump and import that into 3.2 before I
migrate to 3.4 .On 6/22/05, Mark Stover stovenator@gmail.com wrote:
