Ok, I’m running RT 3.0.4 with RTFM 2.0 RC1 on Apache/2.0.45 (Unix)
mod_perl/1.99_08-dev Perl/v5.8.0
Anyway, RT works flawlessly, and RTFM seems to, I can add articles, change
permissions, but when I try and reply to an email in RT and try to “include
and RTFM article” it seems to work, but doesn’t insert the article into my
email. I’ve checked permissions all around and can’t see anything that
would affect this. Anyone had any similar problems? Thanks.

We have the same problems here. I installed the snapshot but
this did not solve the problem. I get the following statements from syslog
when performing the operation:
Jul 22 13:42:55 walhall RT: RT::FM::ArticleCollection Limit called
:VALUE Michael FIELD Name SUBCLAUSE all OPERATOR LIKE ENTRYAGGREGATOR OR
Jul 22 13:42:55 walhall RT: RT::FM::ArticleCollection Limit called
:VALUE Michael FIELD Summary SUBCLAUSE all OPERATOR LIKE ENTRYAGGREGATOR
OR
I realize this isn’t an official release so I don’t want to sound like I’m
complaining, but I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had this working?
I’ve checked the code and it appears that the function we’re trying to use
isn’t even built in yet? Anyone know for sure?

You are correct that RTFM hasn’t been released yet. If we’d caught all
fo the bugs that affect folks in everyday use, it would be a release and
not just a release candidate. The functionality that you’re looking for
exists. and it does work on our test systems. But yes, we do know
that it’s not fully functional in the wild for all users. If you need it
to work today, we’d apppreciate any debugging you care to do. If you
need it to work today and don’t have the technical resources to debug
the issue yourselves, contact us off list and we can allocate commercial
developer time to help you make things go.
As we catch up on a backlog of higher-priority items, we’ll be
working on getting RTFM 2.0.0 out, but we can’t promise specific dates
for opensource products.
