Justin,

I have my server hosted on ssl only https://rt.dept.oakland.edu

I setup my aliases as so:

help: “|/usr/local/rt3/bin/rt-mailgate --queue general --action
correspond --url https://rt.dept.oakland.edu/”

however, it continues to fail… when trying to send to that
address… with the following error:

Are you sure you rebuilt the aliases db? i.e. newaliases

That bounce message shows the alias is still using http, not https.
