No comment on solaris9.
On FreeBSD 4.9, <$use.perl port> after installing perl 5.8.2
FreeBSD 4.* uses the default perl version that comes with the install.
FreeBSD 5.* requires a manual install of perl, so the version is up to the
user.

I walked through it step-by-step to get my RT-3.2.0 install running.
(Originally I used 3.0.11 but upgraded later to 3.2.0).
I used FastCGI/Apache etc on Solaris 9.
