RT custom statuses

Hello,
I’m currently running RT 4.0. Right now, I’m looking for a way to create custom statuses for tickets. I’ve tried changing the SiteConfig file as described here: http://requesttracker.wikia.com/wiki/CustomStatuses . Yet, I still haven’t had any luck. I’m assuming there is a different way to configure RT 4 compared to RT 3.8, I just haven’t found anything on the subject. If you would be able to point me in the right direction, that would be great!

Have you actually read the entire (or at least appropriate sections) of
RT_Config.pm? There’s a lot of in-line docs on custom statuses and work
flows.
