RT articles for documents

Hello everyone,
I was trying to figure out whether RT articles can be used somehow to manage the documents. For example, Right now, when user of RT needs some documents regarding the process, it needs to search document in other programs. My aim is to somehow integrated documents in the RT system, in a way to make them easily accessible and user does not need to loose time to see them in other systems.

You can attach files to Articles, and categorise Articles. Is that what you’re asking for?

We use articles for several things, including documentation for “pre-approved changes” so that folk don’t have to look stuff up outside of RT. Bear in mind that as you can put hyperlinks into articles, you can link out to background material, external information, etc from within the article.
