Hi Jesse,

the corruptions of de.po are fixed. There is no german translation available
for ‘My Day’. I translated a view strings (patch attached, hopefully its
usable), but some strings do not exist in the de.po file.

As an example I can’t find the following string from html/Tools/MyDay.html:
displaying new and open tickets for
Worked
minutes
Comments
Record all updates

Ok, this seems to be only trivialities, but you asked. :slight_smile: And it would be
nice to have a mostly complete translation available when the new final
version comes.

By the way, should I ask questions about german translations related to rt or
rtfm on the rt–devel list or should they go to another address?

localized should be wrapped into a call to I18N subsystem. You can
find examples in the code, search for “->loc” and “<&l>…</&>”.

Sure, but most of translations are made by RT users. So patches are welcome.

rt-devel@ is ok. I think it’s good practice to Cc a maintainer of the
file, look into header of a po file to figure out who is dealing with
most of the time, but never write to them directly.

Hi,

I changed MyDay.html to make a translation of the strings above possible,
hopefully it’s correct this way. I don’t know how to rebuild the de.po file
so that the needed tags are inserted. It would be nice if someone can
regenerate the po file or tell how to do it, then translations can be added.

Is there a tar.gz file or do I have to check out form cvs or similar?

Down near the bottom of the download page is a link called Development or
something to that effect. The version you are looking for will be in there.
