We’ve rewritten the custom field search backend at least twice in the 5
years and 4 months since RT 3.2.1 came out. But I suspect that you may
just be running into the fact that the RT query builder doesn’t show
queue custom fields as search options until you limit to a queue that
contains custom fields.

Hi,
thanks for your answer !!!
I can see custom fields as a search options on the search form but the problem is that the search results are not correct.
The costumfields search conditions (for example cf.{cf_name} like “blabla”) will be not considered on the search results.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly the sort of thing where my answer is “can
you try to reproduce this on a current version of RT?”

Hi Jesse,
on a current version of RT customfield search works fine. But the problem is, that we made a lot of customization on 3.2.1 version, therefore an upgrade will be very time-consuming and expensive.
Many thanks for your answer !!!

While there may be some kind soul on the list who can help you out,
that’s the sort of request I can only manage as part of a support
contract. Ping me off-list if you’d like me to put you in touch with
someone to get such a contract set up.
Best,
