Requiring a Custom Field before resolving?

Is there a way to force a custom field to be filled in before resolving a
ticket?

We tracking things by job codes and each ticket needs to have the job code
field filled in for reporting. We’d like not to rely on users remembering to
do this themselves. :slight_smile:

I am not an advanced PERL programmer, so please be precise in any advice. :slight_smile:
