We’re running RT 3.6.1 with PostgreSQL as the database backend. We’ve
had a few instances where people sending mails with attachments have
gotten a reply back from RT with the subject "Ticket creation failed"
and the body “Ticket could not be created due to an internal error”.
Looking at the logs this appears
to be an issue with RT trying to insert non-unicode characters into our
unicode database cluster.
