Recipient address changed to local domain

Sometimes (not all of the time) when users send replies to ticket
requestors the reply is sent out with the domain portion changed to rt’s
local domain. This local domain is replacing the valid domain ex.
hotmail.com.
Anyone seen this before?

If they reply “to the ticket”, then this is the normal and expected
behavior.

Otherwise, replying would go direct to the user, and not to the ticket
system, so the correspondance wouldn’t be recorded.
