Problem creating tickets

Hi All,
I’ve just installed rt2 on a box and imported all my rt1.0
tickets. Now I’ve RTFM’ed but am having trouble creating tickets…

In the /etc/aliases I have put

rt2-comment: “|/opt/rt2/bin/rt-mailgate --queue tickets --action comment”
rt2: “|/opt/rt2/bin/rt-mailgate --queue tickets --action
correspond”

but whenever I send a mail to rt2@host.com I get back the following…

There has been an error:

What am I missing? I can create tickets via the web interface and
everthing else seems fine.

TIA

That looks to me like an RT1 error message. I’ll bet you’ve got smrsh on
your RT server and the rt-mailgate link is pointing to the RT1 rt-mailgate.On Mon, Jun 11, 2001 at 03:05:13PM +0100, Russell G H. Foster wrote:

On Mon, 11 Jun 2001, Jesse decided to mutter to the world in general:

yep that was it. Just change rt-mailgate to rt2-mailgate and it is now
taking tickets…just got to configure everything else
