Performance issues in RT 4.4.0

Hello,

since a few weeks I have more and more performance issues with request tracker.

our environment:
Hardware

  • VMware virtual machine
  • 8 CPU cores
  • 32GB memory
  • very fast SSD/SAS storage

Software

  • ubuntu 14.04
  • postgres 9.3.21
  • apache 2.4.7
  • request tracker 4.4.0

we have about 610000 tickets and about 100 active users.

Yesterday I incresed the virtual machine from 6 cores / 24GB memory to 8 cores / 32GB memory without making it better.

CPU-load average is about 2,50 to 3,50
memory usage is (in the moment) at about 12GB, swap is empty

can you help me troubleshooting this issue?

We are managing > 430 000 Tickets and > 1 890 000 (mostly unprivilged spam users.

Hi,

Another thing that may help is to upgrade to a supported/current release of PostgreSQL. 9.3 is EOS.
