Only mailing sometimes

I’m having a real problem getting RT (2.0.15) to send email. When I create
a ticket via email, it creates the ticket and sends an autoreply to the
requester. However, when I reply to the ticket, or set up other scrips that
notify different people of transactions and resolutions, no email ever gets
sent. Has anyone seen this before? I am using RT on a Sun box running
Solaris 8, Apache 1.3.22, and Sendmail. Any help would be appreciated!

When Gladstone was British Prime Minister he visited Michael Faraday’s
laboratory and asked if some esoteric substance called `Electricity’
would ever have practical significance.
“One day, sir, you will tax it,” was the answer.
