Offline edits?

Just a quick question…

I noticed that in Tools -> Offline
There is a screen called “Offline Edits”. I cannot fine in the Wikki
what the heck that is used for. Can anyone toss me a clue?

Heh, good question. You might find something in the mailing lists…

IIRC, you can use it to import collect data in that format off line, and
then import it into RT when you are back online (or have access again to
RT) but im not 100% sure.

I’d be curious to know how/if people are using it to better understand
the intent.

Hi, Under Tools there is an Offline Edits tool.
What exactly does it do and where might we find more information on it?

Gary

If you had to take your RT install down for any reason (DB problems,
connection issues, upgrades, etc.) you could track calls in that format
and import the data when it went live again.
