No email just post

Hi All

I have a group of users who belong to one queue. Now those users want to
be able to post reply and comment as transactions but not want to
receive any email. In other words when they reply or comment to a ticket
they don’t want any email generates to the owner/requestor/anyone else
but still want a transaction appended to the ticket

Thanks

You should be able to do this in RT 3.2.

Hi.
Almost all outgoing emails are generated by scrips.
RT default scrip set doesn’t send any comments outside. This is main
difference between comments and replies. Cause RT is highly customizable
so this behaviour could be changed.

I don’t know that there is some major changes with transaction handling
in 3.2.

Hi All

Groups doesn’t belong to queues, it’s system wide term.

As I said before outgoing emails are under scrips control. Remanage your
scrip set. Now, available only one(official) way to disable global
scrip in queue you should delete global and recreate same scrip in all
queues.

Write your own Scrip Conditions or use 3.2 to selectively disable
notifications on a per ticket basis.
